This Australian built Cooper S was originally purchased on 29th April 1969 from the B.M.C. Dealer, G.P & Z.M White Pty Ltd of Maitland NSW. This remarkably authentic Cooper S still has its original Passport to Service and Driver’s Handbook. It presents in remarkable condition having undergone a meticulous and highly accurate restoration to original specifications. With just three owners from new, and in the hands of its current custodian for the last 22 years, this is a great opportunity to purchase a wonderful and archetypal example of the famous Mini Cooper S. It was purchased in Cessnock, NSW by its current owner in 1995 with an original 50,000 miles on the odometer, whereupon it was stored until his retirement in 2010. He then undertook a two-year restoration maintaining as many original parts as possible, to the extent that this car is still running with its genuine plug leads and caps, whilst the original rubber heel pad was sewn into the new carpet mat. This Mini Cooper S displays a mere 52,000 miles on the odometer which are believed to be original.
