This Kaiser-made CJ-5 Jeep is a very nice example with (unlike many
CJ-5s) a rust-free, damage-free body. It also has the original Jeep
Hurricane engine, three-speed manual transmission and four-wheel
drive. It also sports a power takeoff front winch. The interior is
spartan but in very good condition. A direct descendant of World
War IIs ubiquitous Jeep used by not only U.S. troops but those of
many of our allies, the Jeep was a major contributor to our victory
in that global war. Simply designed and constructed, rugged and
dependable, maneuverable and almost able to climb a vertical wall,
its no wonder that the CJ-5 is a worthy member of the pantheon of
automotive greats such as the Ford Model T and the original
