could/should/would have been built had Lotus not been cash strapped
at the time. The engineer who bought this car when it had but 2000
miles on it, called Lotus in Hethel England and talked to one of
the head engineers there and asked him,"What would you have done
differently on this car had you the money? He then went out and did
all of that. A stronger modified transmission as the original one
was not strong enough to handle the 500 horsepower the car was
supposed to be. Quaife limited slip diff, Racing 3 plate clutch,
Engine components fully balanced, blueprinted, forged pistons,
rings, pins, new rod bearings, heads ported and polished. High
performance cooling fans, heavy duty radiator, racing catalytic
converters, upgraded inter cooler turbos,and custom exhaust system.
Wilwood 6 piston 12 racing brakes, Eibach springs front and rear,
sway bar upgraded to Sport 350 - 17mm. Halon Fire extinguishing
system, Low jack system, Valentine 1 get 8 integrated front and
rear radar detectors/Laser detectors/deflectors. Upgraded Hella
headlamps, LED tail lights, Kenwood DVD/GPS 6 speaker, external
amp. The car now produces between 450-500 HP. It is a delight to
drive, well sorted,runs cool, everything works as intended. THE
