Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this awesome 1941 Dodge
Power Wagon WC-13 Half Ton Weapons Carrier. This truck has quite a
lengthy history, as provided by its owner; who, since purchasing it
in 1984, has repaired and/or rebuilt nearly everything on it. At
the front axle, he installed NOS (New Old Stock) differential, new
axles, new trunnion bearings, wheel bearings, and all related
seals; as well as installing new front springs, spring bushings,
and shackles and pins. For the rear axle, the differential was
rebuilt with all new parts; installed Lock-Rite differential
locker, new 3/4 ton axles, new wheel bearings and seals, new brakes
(including drums, cylinders, and shoes). The transmission has been
rebuilt with all new parts (gears, bearings, etc.,), along with
rebuilding the shift tower. The transfer case received all new
seals and bearings; and all drive shafts, yokes, and U-joints have
been replaced with new parts. The engine was rebuilt with all new
internal parts, balanced, and had the camshaft reground. The
flywheel has been resurfaced, ring gear replaced, and a new clutch
was installed. A new starter, generator, voltage regulator,
distributor, fuel pump, carburetor, and water pump were also
installed. A NOS radiator, a complete new wiring system (including
switches and lights) were installed, along with new instruments.
The fuel tank has been cleaned and relined. All brake and fuel
lines and hoses have been replaced, as well. On the interior, the
seats have been rebuilt over the original springs, and have been
reupholstered using period-correct materials. New adjustable tracks
for the driver's seat were installed, and a custom cab top was
added. The body has been completely restored, including reinforcing
and re-welding the body as needed to correct any prior evidence of
rust. It has a new windshield frame and new glass, along with new
rear view mirrors, and a new hood hinge and latches. It has two
Optima 6 volt batteries installed in series (recently added). The
truck has been treated to a new Pertronix electronic ignition, with
a new distributor cap and rotor. The total build was completed by
West Coast Customs fairly recently, with a Linex Custom paint job
being the most recent addition. The truck is equipped with
military-grade offroad tires, so you can be assured that you can
get into (and out of) places that most vehicles wouldn't dare
tread. Military buffs - add this one to your collection! For more
