1940 FORD PICK UP The classic 1940 Ford pickup is presented here
with custom touches yet retaining the beautiful iconic lines of the
1940. This all steel pick up has been slightly chopped, yet
provides sufficient head room comfort for a 6'+ driver. The hood
has been pie cut giving it a lower stance up front. It is finished
in bright yellow on the exterior. The windshield is two piece butt
cut without the center molding. Side door glass is one piece,
removing the vent glass. The bed rear has a steel rolled pan with
custom taillights mounted in the pan. The bed is finished with
light oak wood strips with stainless steel rails. The stance is
lowered yet it rides smoothly. A GM 350ci V-8 is topped with an
Edelbrock intake and 4bbl carburetor. The power is transferred by a
smooth shifting automatic transmission. The roomy interior is
finished in custom black leather bench seat, door panels and
headliner. The dash is original in shape with custom insert
displaying an array of VDO black face gauges. Vintage Air is inset
into the dash. A strong stereo rest at the base of the seat front.
A wrapped Lecarra steering wheel tops the column shift. A great
