1964 Cadillac Sedan Deville
This is a very nice Cadillac that has been treated to an extensive, professional, restoration/customization. The body is laser straight and shows no signs of damage or rust. All of the door gaps, hood and trunk gaps are right. The paint job is show quality base/clear Porsche Indian Red. There are no dings, chips, or scrapes. The stainless trim is restored and near perfect. There are only two or three minor bumps. The chrome bumpers, front and rear headlight and taillight surrounds appear as new. The grill and rear valance look new. The windshield is new and all the other glass is excellent.
The trunk is spacious and in nicely detailed condition with jack and an original type spare. Included is a custom fitted car cover.
The tires are Goodyear Eagles with about 90% tread left. P285/R60/16 on the rear, and P225/60R/16 on the front.
The interior is a nice red and white, with pleated, vented inserts. New red carpet. The electrics work. Windows, lights, wipers, new radio. The original radio is present but is not working. There is a fine Alpine system tucked away in the glove box. The electric antenna is operated with original knob, and has a great sound. All of the rubber seals have been replaced: trunk, door, hood, etc. All window “fuzzies” have been replaced.
The original air conditioning system was completely reconditioned and operates well.
The original 429 c.i. engine was rebuilt and fitted with a turbo 400 automatic. The engine and engine compartment are nicely detailed. It runs and drives well and is suitable for highway use.
This car was restored in a high end shop and was the owners personal car.
