Vehicle Description
1966 MUSTANG Blue Mustang GT 289
The introduction of the Mustang in 1964 created a new class of
automobile known as the pony car. The Mustang's styling, with its
long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host
of competition including Camaro, Firebird, Cougar and others.
The 1966 Blue Mustang GT 289 at Skyway Classics is a perfect
example of the performance image the Mustangs enjoyed when they
were new. Classic lines, upgraded Pony Interior, riding on Mustang
Styled wheels really makes a statement.
The GT has a lot of features and work done to it on its
restoration. Repainted a beautiful Navy Blue, it has front disc
brakes, Fog Lights, H.D. suspension, seat belts, floor mats, and
the upgraded Pony two-tone blue and white interior with
console.
The engine compartment looks just as it did factory fresh with the
289 engine 4-barrell and all the factory valve covers and air
cleaner, and great looking decals and appointments.
This Mustang is as close to what you could buy in 1966 as you can
find. See the factory Trim Tag info that verifies all the
information that this car came with.
