For Sale: 1981 Kenworth K100 in Scotts Valley, California
If you are going to haul a classic car or race car there is nothing
more fitting than a classic rig. The iconic Kenworth K100
symbolized a time when US truckers were seen as blacktop cowboys,
CB radios where all the rage, and B.J. and Bear was on TV.
This custom K100 features a single-car box that is built out with
ample space, workbenches and storage. Its compact design makes the
truck easy to maneuver on the road as well as in the paddock. The
cab has a convenient single bed sleeper, and there is plenty of
storage under the box. It is really the perfect support and
transport vehicle that will be admired as much as the car that
resides inside.
The Kenworth has recently been inspected and serviced at Canepa
Concept Transporters in Fresno, CA. Work included: new tires fitted
all around; oil and filter where changed; coolant was flushed; four
new batteries were installed; fuel filters were changed; chassis
was greased; cab rams where rebuilt; and all lighting was gone
through.
