1958 Chevy Impala, restored. Base coat clear coat paint. Power disc Brakes, 700R4 overdrive transmission. Originally a 348 car now a rebuilt 1964 409 cu in. 4 bbl. New interior. Carpet and headliner. New rechromed rear California bumper. Newer tires and keystone rims, new gas tank. Factory power steering. New tail lights, new windshield and weather stripping. Car is in excellent shape, runs well and doesn’t overheat, original radiator recovered to 4 core.
The good - Car is beautiful and starts and runs well. All exterior lights. Blinker, brakes, high/low beam work. Paint is a 8-9 out of 10. Some bright work is beautiful [like the front and rear bumpers]. Interior is excellent. Window roll up and down as they should.
The so so - [I wouldn`t say bad] interior dome light not installed [I believe I have them] Horn/fuel gauge and radio doesn’t work. Needs door weather stripping [trunk weather stripping is new] The hood chrome is starting to show age, the mustaches are good and front bumper is newer. Body is overall mint but for two places on the floor, not seen, one The spare tire hold is not up to the rest of the car and the right rear floor pan was not professionally done like the exterior was. Only noticeable from under the car. The window pillars need rechroming.
possible trades with some cash my way,
So pay attention all.I`m listing this car for $30,000.00 firm.Car has developed a knock in the engine. Not sure what it is. Runs fine and strong and you can`t hear it while driving.Could be as simple as a fuel pump rod or as bad as a main bearing. Planed on changing fuel pump and then if have to pull motor.Even thought about pulling and adding a nice crate engine. In either case at this price you can do what you want.Car running and driving fine.
