The styling of the 1954 Ford line-up had been largely unchanged
since 1952. Even though 1955 would mark a dramatic styling change,
Ford decided to create the rather audacious Skyliner. The audacity
came from front half of the roof of the 2-door hardtop being made
of green tinted acrylic glass. Ford proclaimed it gave the
passengers a, "freshness of view.", as they went down the road. It
had all the advantage of a convertible without the wind blowing
everything around. In 1954 Ford 13, 144 examples of which we are
offering a fine example for auction. The white exterior is
highlighted by the black and white interior with vinyl seating.
