1961 Chrysler New Yorker in Saratoga Springs, New York
This is an absolutely outstanding example of a super rare 1961
Chrysler New Yorker Convertible. It is finished in Tuxedo Black
with Black and White interior, topped with a black convertible
roof. It is powered by a 413 C.I V-8 mated to the infamous push
button transmission, swivel front bucket seats, power steering,
power brakes, factory air conditioning, factory radio and heater.
Chrome wire wheels wrapped in wide, white wall tires allow front
end styling with canted quad headlamps and new rear taillight
treatment, clearly went after the sport luxury enthusiast market.
The interior ques look like that out of a rocket ship with bulbous
plexiglas dash guard pod. It is also accompanied with the
translucent steering wheel. The styling of this vehicle is
unsurpassed.
Estimate: $85,000 - $95,000
