Vehicle Description
This custom pickup truck started life as a 1972 long-bed C20. It's
been professionally shortened, and the hood, fenders and grille
were swapped for those from a '68. Built on the show "Vegas Rat
Rods" for the Discovery Channel, it features an Industrial
Injection-built 5.9-liter turbocharged Cummins diesel engine mated
to a 4R100 automatic transmission with overdrive. It has 3.73 gears
and posi-traction rear end with coilovers and air bags for
suspension. Retaining its 3/4-ton status, it features 8-lug
staggered Fuel wheels wrapped in Nitto tires. The interior is
simple with custom black and blue center console and door panels.
Other interior features include Classic Instruments dash with Auto
Meter gauges, and a Winters quick shift gets through the gears. It
has all-new door window seals with power one-piece side glass
(vent-wing delete), as well as air conditioning. The custom
metalwork throughout the truck consists of bare metal and enhanced
welds with silicon bronze. The bed is custom-made with hammered
steel and a custom 19-gallon fuel tank. The custom cowl hood roll
pans on the front and rear are all clear-coated. ** PREVIEW
