Vehicle Description
This stunningly and creatively customized Nissan 240 SX is a blend
of street, custom and show car that turns heads in any venue. This
car was a World of Wheels show winner in both Washington DC and
Boston back in the day.
The first thing one notices about this car is the spectacular
custom 2-tone PPG paint scheme done in Diamond Black and Sunburst
Pearl Coat Red Metallic that has been super coated a total of 13
times to give the car an unbelievable luster. The body has been
enhanced by a molded full body kit, a carbon fiber front splitter
and a carbon fiber molded and contoured rear wing.
The interior is also custom with leather door panels, carbon fiber
custom trim panels, power windows and power locks. Also featured is
a Naugahyde racing seat with a 4-point harness and a Momo leather
steering wheel. Steering is power assisted.
The drivetrain features a Redtop SR-20 DET Motor with 15,000 true
miles on this two-liter, OHV, turbo engine, a popular upgrade for a
high performance 240SX. It is mated to a 5-speed JDM manual
transmission, an Exedy racing clutch and a limited slip
differential.
The brakes are 300 ZX Big-Brake upgrades with Stillen Cross drilled
rotors with Hawk HPS pads. The wheels are Motegi Formula-7 Gunmetal
18 inch rims with staggered Falken Ziex 512 tires.
A great deal of attention has been paid to building a highly
sophisticated Pioneer sound system with 14 speakers and DVD player.
Front and rear AV Camera monitors the engine bay and backup area (2
cameras).
In reality it is almost impossible to include all the customization
that has made this a show-winning vehicle. With 15,000 actual miles
it is still a low mileage phenomenon.
It is no wonder the owner feels this is the nicest 240SX in
existence.
