Harvester Anniversary series truck. The International A-Series (or
A-line) replaced the S-Series in April 1957. The name stood for
"Anniversary", as 1957 marked the fiftieth (or Golden) anniversary
of truck production by International Harvester. It was largely a
rebodied version of the light and medium S-Series truck,
incorporating a wide cab and more integrated fenders. The
International Harvester Company (now known as Navistar
International Corporation) was a United States manufacturer of
agricultural machinery, construction equipment, trucks, and
household and commercial products. In 1902, J.P. Morgan merged the
McCormick Harvesting Machine Company and Deering Harvester Company,
along with three smaller agricultural equipment firms, to form
International Harvester. This one has been completely restored into
the custom show truck you see here today. Seen wearing a glossy
black paint job with some vibrate multicolored flames that drape
the hood & fenders that streak down the doors. The finish of the
truck is high quality and shows very well inside the showroom as
well as out in the sunshine! This custom truck has been lowered to
give it a mean sleek stance. The chromed grill & bumpers really
make this truck stand out and give it a unique appearance. It sits
on some 5-star Boss 18-inch wheels that are wrapped in tires that
have plenty of life left on them. Powering this beauty is a 355 CiD
V8 that features tuned port fuel injection. The engine bay is
painted & finished with polished accessories throughout. Paired to
the great sounding engine is a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission
that has a tall trucker style shifter mounted in the cab. The trans
leads into a 10-bolt rear end spinning 3.42 gears. The engine has
only 1050 miles on it & the transmission has less than 100 miles
since they were rebuilt. Looking into the cab you will find a sexy
red & black leather interior that is in near brand-new condition.
The custom black painted dash & door panels really add that extra
pop with the two-tone color combination. The truck has too many
custom touches to list but the amount of detailed paint work is a
nice touch. The truck has custom gauges, ice cold AC, keyless door
popper entry with the custom shaved doors, side exhaust pipes,
power steering, power brakes, leather interior, tilt steering
