Vehicle Description
The 1932-1934 Fords may be the most modified or customized body
style of all time. Its handsome simple body allow for a great deal
of modification. On the '33 and '34 you have the front fenders
sweeping to accent the sweep of the grill. It all adds up to a very
handsome canvas to work on.
The example for auction is based on a 1934 3-window. It was built
in 2006 in Rochester, NY. It has a fiberglass Downs Manufacturing
body built on a powder coated TCI frame with a three inch drop and
suicide doors. It has power windows and electric (FOB) door
openers.
It is powered by a 383 "stroker" Chevy. The motor puts out 403
horsepower and uses a 700R4 Turbo-Hydramatic transmission with a
2500 stall converter. All of this goes to Posi 9 inch Ford with
3:90 gears. There are power brakes with disc up front and drums on
the back and, for you added comfort, AC and power steering.
It is painted Strato Mica Blue with ghost flames. The interior is
tan and brown with vinyl bucket seats created by Northeast Custom
Rods with an Ididit steering column. The current and only second
owner purchased the car in 2008 and has been driven only 9600
miles.
