Vehicle Description
This is an interesting and fun classic. It's a 1917 Buick D34 or
35, which started life as either a touring car or roadster. The
four-cylinder engine puts out 33 HP. Basic black it is now an open
cab truck. The owner believes it was converted into a truck during
the depression at a time when hard-times called for ingenuity and
making the most of what you had. Another possibility is the idea
that trucks received a larger gas ration during the war.
Whatever the explanation this is certainly something different in
the way of interesting classics.
