Vehicle Description
1934 Ford Tudor Sedan
Sleek, classy and quality are all words that came to mind the first
time we set eyes on this beautifully done 34 Ford Tudor Sedan.
These cars always have a very elegant looking exterior but this one
is definitely next level. It has been very very well built and the
build is fully documented from the time it was dragged out of a
field. The original builder found the car on a farm where it had
been forgotten. They then went and totally rebuilt the car turning
it into an old school custom. All of the body work was done with
lead and steel so there is no putty/bondo throughout. They painted
it suede black, put 2 seats in it, fitted it with the 350/350
drivetrain and drove it to the street rod nationals 2 years in a
row. The current owner then bought the car and decided it needed to
be transformed once again into more of a show car. The car was
completely disassembled again and completely stripped down. The
body work was already very well done at that time but his
intentions were to paint it high gloss Black so it was gone over
with a fine tooth comb to insure it was perfect. As you car guys
know, gloss Black is one of the most difficulty colors to get right
but if done well can put any other paint job to shame. Well this
one was done well. Looking at one of the doors is like looking in
the mirror. In fact, it was difficulty to pick pictures out to use
for this ad just because of how well the paint reflects everything!
Paired with the Black is the beautiful original style chrome
accents that shine just as well. That classic 34 grill along with
the chrome horns and big headlights make for a great looking front
end.The body is all steel and nowadays it is always nice to see one
kept intact. We love custom cars but a nice original unchopped,
unshaved Henry Ford steel body is tough to beat. The only
customization to the body is the suicide doors. Under all four
corners are spoke steel wheels which are painted Red to create a
nice accent to the paint.
Under the four piece hood you will find a 350 V8 motor that runs
very smoothly. It is dressed up nicely with a lot of chrome/billet
accents and the Red theme continues with small details like the
painted in valve covers and spark plug wires. This creates a
cohesive complete look you don't see in all cars out there. The
performance components are all there too with top brands like
Hooker headers, Weber carburetor, MSD wires and an Edelbrock
performer EPS intake manifold. Backing up the motor is a Turbo 350
Automatic transmission that moves through the gears with ease. The
car really is a great driver and runs down the road incredibly
well. Get it up to speed, let go of the wheel and the car tracts as
straight as an arrow. It has a Mustang II style front end with disc
brakes on all four corners and leaf spring suspension in rear.
The interior of the car is done in a very nice Red leather with
Black accents. The bucket seats are very comfortable and being a
sedan the car incorporates a rear seat making it perfect to taking
the family out to the show with you. The dash has been kept in the
Suede Black color the previous owner had painted the car. It is
topped with aftermarket gauges and a Vintage AC/Heat system. In
front of the driver you will find a nice Ididit steering column
topped by a Banjo steering wheel.
From front to rear this classic 34 is an extremely well done car.
It needs absolutely nothing!
You couldn't build the car for only $64,500.00!
