Vehicle Description
I purchased an exact copy of a 1956 Ford Fairlane Club Sedan ten
years ago to celebrate my wife's and my anniversary. We dated all
through high school in one exactly like it except it was gray and
white. This car has the exact drive train and interior.
Updates include:
2" drop front spindles, tork thrust wheels and radials
Rechromed bumpers, and tinted glass
New door panels, carpeting and upholstery
New door sills, back window shelf and trunk mat
Under dash air conditioning, changed to an alternator, power
steering, MSD ignition. I changed to a 57 Ford intake so as to
accommodate an Eddelbrock carburetor. I overhauled the automatic
tranny. The 292 4 barrel engine was just overhauled when I bought
the car and runs very well with good power. I went through the
radiator.
This is a wonderful car and the only reason we are selling it is we
seldom drive it, although it gets more"nice car" than any of my
other cars.
