In 1953 Buick was the last company in the United States to build a
wooden suburban, commonly known known as the woodie.
This flawless restoration has been recognized by the Antique auto
club of America, first receiving a junior award and now has the
prestige of receiving a senior award.
1953 was the introduction of the first Buick V-8 engine, this
magnificent car is also equipped with an automatic transmission,
power steering and power brakes, and also an original a.m
radio.
Buick's were know for their cutting edge designs. The three port
holes as well as the sweeping chrome on each side make the Buick a
stand out from the rest of the industry.
For 1953 this Buick Woodie set the standard for excellence and
luxury.
