Vehicle Description
The Dodge Dart is an automobile originally built by Dodge from 1960
to 1976 in North America, with production extended to later years
in various other markets. The Dart nameplate was resurrected for a
Fiat-derived compact car introduced in 2013. The Dart name
originally appeared on a 1957 show car featuring a body designed by
the Italian coachbuilder Carrozzeria Ghia. The production Dart was
introduced as a lower-priced, shorter wheelbase, full-size Dodge in
1960 and 1961, became a mid-size car for 1962, and finally was a
compact from 1963 to 1976.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1969 Dodge Dart GT for
consideration. According to the owner, this Dart is a true GT two
door hard top with factory A/C, power steering and power brakes
upgraded with GTS trim. Vehicle is triple black, features a
reconditioned front grill and rear tail panel, new wheel lip and
rocker moldings, newer bumper and brackets, newer headlight and
tail bezels, newly chrome plated door wing window hardware. The
fenders and doors were acid dipped and E-Coated with new E-coated
rear quarters, trunk extensions and outer wheel housings.
Reinforced plates were added at the door handles. The power plant
in this Dart is a 360 cubic inch, 350 horsepower crate engine with
fast fuel injection, electronic ignition, Weiand aluminum dual
plane intake, 1 5/8" TTI ceramic coated shorty headers with 2.5"
collectors, polished Sanden A/C compressor, powder coated
alternator, new mini starter, 727 3 speed TorqueFlight transmission
with 2200 RPM stall converter, a Mancini valve body and deep pan,
and 8 �" sure-grip posi rear axle with 3.23:1 gear set. The
interior is new and consists of high back bucket seats with
headrests from Seats4Cars, with the matching rear set. HVAC system
upgraded to Gen IV magnum vintage air heat, A/C and defrost system
with electronic controls, center console with floor shifter, new
carpet and headliner, flaming river tilt steering, column monted
tachometer, AM/FM player and four speaker sound system and much
