Vehicle Description
It's hard to believe an icon this awesome is priced so nicely.
After all, this 1957 Chevrolet 150 has a great metallic shine,
acres of chrome, four wheel disc brakes, a powerful crate V8, a
comfy A/C interior, and much more.
This coupe grabs all the right attention. The red and silver
two-tone has all the that metallic elements we all want that really
makes it pop every time the sunshine hits the sheetmetal. Plus, you
know a '57 Chevy by its chrome and stainless trim, and thankfully
all is present on this coupe. It includes the wide grille and
bumper package with Dagmars as large as the headlights; the rocket
trim on the hood that signified the jet age; and some of the best
brightwork details of its era. These are reasons why we all love
the icon, but this coupe has something more to offer. Those Coys
wheels with their aggressive 18/20-inch front/rear stagger are a
clear indication this classy classic has some performance
chops.
Inside is a major upgrade from the 1950s. The seats follow a
similar pattern to the original, but the gray tweed cloth is vastly
more comfortable. And the Chevy bow ties embedded in the seatbacks
are a nice custom touch. This fabric and pattern is repeated on the
side panels and roof for a nicely coordinated interior. This fully
coordinated feeling is completed with the exterior red and silver
returning on the dash. But more than just look good, you also have
great features like cold R134a air conditioning. And from the
moment you slip behind the billet Carriage Works steering wheel and
glance at the SunPro auxiliary gauge package, you'll know this
coupe has much more to offer than stock.
As the car that helped launch the small block, this Chevy
celebrates its heritage with a fresh twist. Under the hood is a
crate 350 cubic-inch V8 that was installed around 1,000 miles ago.
It's nicely dressed with polished components like the air grabber,
compressor, valve covers, and pulleys. But beyond the style is the
serious performance substance of an Edelbrock four-barrel
carburetor and Edelbrock Performer RPM intake. Plus, those long
tube headers that add even more power as they contribute to the
rumble of the dual exhaust. It also has thoughtful components like
the aluminum radiator w/electric fan, so this enhanced V8 stays
cool even when you're in traffic with the A/C running. Plus,
upgrades like power steering, a three-speed automatic transmission,
and four-wheel disc brakes gives this a fantastic feeling on the
road.
Complete with built receipts and maintenance records, this '57
Chevy has great upgrades, beautiful colors, and some serious
performance on the streets. It's everything you want in one iconic
design. So hurry before someone else grabs your dream coupe. Call
