1965 Chevrolet Corvette 396 Big Block in Wallingford, Connecticut
1965 saw the introduction of the first Big Block (many call the 396
as the first L88 as they share many similarities). They made
approximately ~2,100 396's in 1965. These cars have really made
their mark and have seen an incresingly popularity since the 65 hit
50 years old last year. This car is one of the nicest 396's that
you will find as it has its "Original" "Born-With" motor with
Original matching numbers trim and vin tags that have all been
verified by Al Grenning. We performed a full frame-off restoration
on this car last year and debuted it at Bloomington Gold where it
received a Bloomington Gold OEM Certification. As you will see
through some of the pictures, there is nothing that was left
untouched. The car is "Over-Restored" and the chassis looks like
pure jewelry. This car earned 3 NCRS Top Flights, Bloomington Gold
Status and the coveted Triple Diamond Award as well as People's
Choice at the Muscle Car & Corvette Nationals in 2016.
This is a chance to own a 1 year only (4month run) no stories,
investment grade 396 Corvette.
