hood stinger, code correct Black vinyl interior. Numbers matching
435hp 427ci L71 engine, numbers matching close ratio 4 speed manual
transmission, numbers matching 4.11 posi rear-end. Features include
power brakes, side exhaust, redline tires, bolt-on wheels, AM/FM
radio, transistor ignition, soft ray windshield, J56 heavy duty
brakes. Originally assembled on March 2, 1967, this 1967 Corvette
427/435hp is in very nice shape, featuring a BODY-OFF restoration,
as well as a 2012 NCRS Chapter Top Flight award, and a more recent
NCRS Regional Second Flight award. This is a very rare car as well,
not just because of the L71 engine, but also as it was one of just
267 equipped with factory heavy duty brakes. A special note from
the owner of Buyavette: After attending recent televised auctions,
I return with amassment that this 67 Judged Vette is grossly
underpriced. Raising the price is not something we do or have done
as the price remains. Like Vettes recently sold at auction
commanded $175,000 and more. Don't miss out on a deal rarely seen.
Judged 1967 435hp are once again ringing the bell and appreciating
rapidly. Odometer shows 19,871 miles, which are documented as
actual by a 2012 Georgia title. This car's paint looks to be recent
NCRS-spec lacquer, and is good-vg with a nice shine. All exterior
glass in this car shows a correct date code. Chrome bumpers and
exterior door handles show a vg-exc finish, and taillights are
vg-exc as well. Weatherstripping is good-vg. Bolt-on wheels are
vg-exc with vg-exc center caps, and BF Goodrich Silvertown redline
radial tires show an average of 10/32nds tread depth remaining. The
interior of this 1967 Corvette 427/435hp shows vg-exc loop carpet,
dash pods, center console, and gauges, good-vg seats, and good
condition steering wheel and GM seatbelts. Original/unrestored
interior components included the dash, seats, gauges, door panels,
and seatbelts. The numbers matching engine in this car shows
original casting date January 23, 1967, and final assembly date
February 14, 1967. Correct air cleaner, intake manifold, exhaust
manifolds, valve covers, ignition shielding, ignition wires, and
radiator hoses and clamps are all in place, and the frame is clean,
solid, and rust-free. This car has been fully serviced, and all
instrument gauges, lights, turn signals, brakes, engine,
transmission and rear-end are all in good operating condition.
