Gateway Classic Cars Louisville Showroom is proud to present this awesome Bright White 1979 Chevrolet Corvette. 1979 would see production of the Corvette rise to an all-time high. Even though he horsepower numbers weren't the best, the Corvette was still a solid performer with tons of sex appeal to go along with it. The body lines of a C3 Corvette are timeless and will draw a crowd anywhere it is parked. While the original 350 V8 was a little light on Horsepower, a 383 stroker V8 has resolved this issue. With a quick turn of the key, the 383 comes to life and you know instantly this Vette has more under the hood. The 383 V8 has been equipped with a nice lopey Lunati Cam/lifters, a Holley 700 cfm carburetor and Edelbrock intake. A set of Dart heads were also added to make sure the 383 draws in plenty of air and fuel. An upgrade exhaust system consisting of Hooker Headers and Flowmaster mufflers insure all the spent gases are efficiently removed. The exhaust gives the Corvette a nice healthy rumble letting everybody know your packing more muscle under the hood. The engine is mated to a rebuilt Turbo 350 automatic transmission that shifts firm and fast. There is less than 3000 miles on the rebuild of the drivetrain. The Corvette was repainted in 2014 and the Bright White paint is really eye opening. Finishing off the exterior is s nice set of Chrome Cragar wheels. While usually seen on mid 60's Vettes, they really compliment the Bright White and is a nice change from the usual Corvette Rally's everybody else runs. The Interior is in excellent condition with the blue being a very nice contrast to the white exterior. This car has always been garaged kept, never rained on and has not been left out overnight. In other words, the current owners have taken very good care of it. So, if you have wanted a late 70's C3 Corvette because it was such a good looking car, but wish it had a little more muscle, then your wishes can be fulfilled with this 1979 Corvette. Options for this 1979 Chevrolet Corvette include; AM/FM radio with Cassette Player, Leather Interior, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Door Locks, Power windows, Seat Belts, T-tops and Chrome Cragar Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires.
