Vehicle Description
The MGB was launched in May 1962 to replace the MGA. Introduced as
a four-cylinder roadster, a coup with 2+2 seating was added in
1965. It was a relatively modern design at the time of its
introduction utilising a monocoque structure instead of the
traditional 'body-on-frame' construction used on both the MGA and
MG T-types. The lightweight design reduced manufacturing costs
while adding to overall vehicle strength. The performance was
considered brisk at the time of its introduction aided by the
relatively light weight of the car This lovely British convertible
sports car is presented in red with a black interior and comes with
a tonneau and black hood to match. A luggage rack has also been
fitted for those long weekends away and there is a history file
with various old tax discs dating back to 1997, together with some
old MoT certificates dating back to 1994. The black carpets are in
good order and we understand there is also a spare set available
with the car and also spare mats. These cars are fun to drive and
earlier examples such as this are becoming more desirable. For
