Vehicle Description
The W210 is an executive car produced from 1995 through to 2002 and
sold under the E-Class model name in both saloon and estate body
types. AMG installed four engines in the W210; the body styling on
all of the W210 AMG models was the same until 2000 when a facelift
was implemented. The W210 E55 was the last vehicle for which a
major portion of production took place at AMG in Affalterbach.
Production was actually split between Affalterbach and the Bremen
Mercedes-Benz facility until the end of 2001. Output of the E55 AMG
was some 354bhp with a torque figure of 391ft/lb which propelled it
from 0-62mph in just 5.7 seconds with a limited top speed of
155mph. With just two former keepers and a relatively low mileage,
it is clear that this E55 has been an exceptionally well cared for
vehicle. The eight stamps in the service book (seven main dealer)
confirm this and she was last serviced by Mercedes-Benz of York at
72,840 miles. The silver coachwork is in good order and the
condition of this Mercedes-Benz is commensurate with the age and
mileage. Supplied with a V5C registration document together with a
current MoT test certificate valid until 4th June 2018 and a
complete set of handbooks including a significant amount of
receipts, these superb vehicles are increasingly popular; a good
pedigree sets this AMG above the rest. For sale by auction on
