Vehicle Description
We are delighted to offer this low mileage Series 3 Alfa Romeo
Spider that is presented in very good order. The lefthand drive
Spider was first registered in Italy in 1986 and imported into the
UK by Headley Garages, Grayshott, Surrey whereby it was sold to a
Mr Sleep of Pyrford, Surrey and first registered, in the UK, to him
on 17th March 1997. The Alfa Romeo was then sold to Sylvia Ann
Lyall in July 2001 and then acquired by the current owner in August
2003. The extensive history file contains the original Italian
service book and a record of all services and MoT tests carried out
since 1997. From 2007, this Alfa Romeo has had very little use and
has been stored within the vendor's dry garage until recently
whereby the decision was made to let a new owner enjoy the Spider.
On inspection, this Alfa Romeo displays a remarkably clean
coachwork, both on top and on the undersides and has panel gaps to
match. The engine compartment is also exceptionally clean whilst
the interior, also excellent, has that nearly new Alfa Romeo smell
of the period. On a recent test, the Alfa Romeo drove very well and
felt tight on the suspension and steering, confirming the low
miles, whilst the brakes brought the Spider to a halt in a
confident manner. D573 UGO is UK registered and has an MoT test
certificate valid until July 2018. With that Italian red coachwork
and design flair, this attractive Alfa Romeo is certainly a serious
contender in anyone's book and oozes bags of that 1980's chic.
