Vehicle Description
This 1978 Jimmy came from San Antonio, Texas. It is clean, Dry, and
Rust Free. This did not see any flooding from the Hurricane in
Houston!! This particular Jimmy had a professional Full Convertible
Conversion done to it so when you take the top off it is just like
the early Blazers. Very cool and very well done!! The 400 V8 was
professionally rebuilt and all items were new on the engine and in
the engine at that time. It has a Quadrajet Carb, HEI Distributor,
Headers w/ Dual Exhaust, Aluminum Radiator, and working AC. The
Turbo 350 Transmission and NP203 Transfer Case were also gone
through at the time of the engine rebuild. Some other nice features
are the 6 Inch Suspension Lift, Roll, Bar, Freshly recovered front
seats, and new TOYO 385/75/16 Open Country Tires.
The body on this truck is straight and the paint is excellent.
Interior is clean. This truck had what I call a selective
restoration with a repaint, obviously the drive train redone,
Suspension, some interior work, etc. It is a very nice and very
clean excellent driving SUV. When we drove this it drove excellent
with the only surprise being how nice it drove with the bigger
wheels and tires.
