THIS BEAUTIFUL 1955 CHEVY SERIES 3100 CUSTOM TRUCK HAS UNDERGONE MAJOR PROFESSIONAL FABRICATION TO INCLUDE BODY, POWER TRAIN, FRAME, SUSPENSION, INTERIOR, AND ELECTRONICS. THE EXTENSIVE FABRICATION, BODY AND PAINT WORK, REQUIRED OVER 400 HOURS TO COMPLETE. THIS TRUCK IS A MULTIPLE SHOW WINNER AND HAS BEEN DRIVEN LESS THAN 200 MILES SINCE ITS COMPLETION 5 YEARS AGO. THE BODY STARTED AS A STEEL BODY BIG WINDOW DELUX PICKUP. THE FRONT BUMPER WAS SHAVED AND FLOATED WITH A CUSTOM BILLET GRILL. A LATE MODEL STEP-SIDE BED WAS ADDED WHICH REQUIRED A CUSTOM FRAME TO BE FABRICATED TO ACCOMMODATE THE NEW 6.5' BED. THE FUEL DOOR WAS SHAVED AND THE GAS FILLER WAS MOVED BEHIND THE TAIL LIGHT. THE REAR HAD A ROLL PAN ADDED AND A FABRICATED LICENSE PLATE BRAKET HIDES A RECEVER HATCH. GAYLORD FIBERGLASS TONNEAU COVER COVERS A BED SPRAYED WITH REFLEX BEDLINER. THE ENTIRE BODY RECEIVED A NEAR FLAWLESS PAINT JOB WITH 2 STAGE PPG IN CORVETTE ARRIVAL BLUE. THE POWER TRAIN CONSISTED OF AN LS-1 V8 WITH PERFORMANCE AND STREET FUEL SYSTEM AND PERFORMANCE UPGRADE TO THE STOCK COMPUTER. THE FIREWALL WAS SMOOTHED AND ALTERED TO ACCOMMODATE THE 4L80E TRANSMISSION WITH A CONSOLE SHIFTER WAS MATED TO A 10 BOLT POSI 3.73 REAR END. A NEW GM FACTORY WIRING HARNESS WITH HIDDED WIRING WAS USED TO GIVE A CLEAN LOOK. A CUSTOM 3 CORE ALUMINUM RADIATOR WITH ELECTRIC FANS DO THE COOLING. CUSTOM 2.5in ALUMINUM PIPE EXHAUST SYSTEM UTILIZING FLOWMASTER MUFFLERS AND CHROME TIPS. ALUMINUM ROCK VALLEY FUEL TANK. LOKAR STAINLESS THROTTLE CABLE AND FLOOR MOUNTED GAS PEDAL WAS UTILIZED. A CAMARO SUB-FRAME WITH ALL NEW PERFORMANCE COMPONENTS TO INCLUDE A FLAMING RIVER POWER RACK AND PINION STEERING, NEW A FRAMES, NEW SUMMIT PERFORMANCE COIL FRONT SPRING ON DROPPED SPINDLES. A 1 1/8 INCH SWAY BAR UP FRONT AND MONO LEAF SPRINGS ARE USED IN THE REAR. THE FRONT DISC BRAKES ARE POWER STOP ROTORS WITH "NO LIMIT ENGINEERING" POWER BRAKE KIT AND STAINLESS STEEL LINES WERE USED. THE WHEELS ARE KMC CHROME, 18in FRONT WITH 235-502R18 PERFORMANCE TIRES AND 20in REAR WITH 295-45R20 TIRES. THE INTERIOR IS CADILLAC POWER AND HEATED BUCKETS AND CONSOLE WITH SHIFTER. THE SEATS, CUSTOM DOORS PANELS, AND DASH WERE DONE IN TAN LEATHER. CUSTOM HEADLINER, POWER WINDOWS, POWER DOOR LOCKS WITH DOOR POPPERS. AN AM/FM/CD/MPI/DVD ALPINE STEREO IS CONSOLE MOUNTED. THE DASH CONTAINS A BILLET CLUSTER WITH AUTOMETER GAUGES. THIS AWESOME TRUCK WAS ENGINEERED AND BUILT TO RIDE, HANDLE, AND PERFORM AS A NEW VEHICLE. THIS TRUCK IS FAST!!! ALMOST $100k WAS SPENT ON THIS BUILD TO MAKE IT A WORK OF ART!!!
