Vehicle Description
Loaded with a ton of power options and features! 350ci V8/ 4-speed
manual transmission, air conditioning, Power disc brakes, power
steering, power windows & locks, cruise control, rear defrost, and
more! Awesome driver and show truck coming from the last owner of
34 years! The second generation of Chevrolet C/K Series trucks came
about in 1967 with revisions for added comfort and convenience to
buyers. This meant more options, better ride, and overall more
accommodations. This included a coil spring, trailing arm rear
suspension, independent front suspension on 2WD models, larger
engine & better transmission options, a host of different bed &
heavy duty chassis styles, along with cozier interior cabin
features. Slight revisions were made through 1972, before a full
redesign was introduced in 1973. The sportier, short bed 2WD
examples have made way to full restorations to original condition,
or more often, to building very sharp custom show trucks. This
demand for early Chevy trucks has been forcing collector values to
rise over the past several years! Offered here is a very
well-appointed 1970 Chevrolet C/10 Stepside pickup finished in
super slick Turquoise Poly over Black cloth custom bucket seat
interior! This show truck survives from its last owner of 34 years,
who elected to make sure it had just about every option a modern
truck could offer! This includes a recently fitted new GM crate
350ci V8 HO engine providing 333hp and 381 lb. ft. of torque and
brand new 4-speed manual Saginaw transmission. Both now have
approximately 800 miles on them. Additional features include cold
air conditioning, power front ventilated disc brakes, power
steering, power windows, power locks with key fob remote, rear
window defrost, cruise control, windshield washer, Grant GT leather
wrapped steering wheel, Pioneer AM/FM/CD radio with upgraded JBL
speakers and bass tube hidden under the seat, reverse lights,
custom fold down armrest with interior storage, Sunpro under dash
gauges to monitor engine vitals with tachometer, rear wood bed with
painted fiberglass bed cover, and more! The GM 4-bolt main engine
is fitted with cast iron crankshaft, powered metal connecting rods,
dished cast aluminum pistons, Holley 600cfm carburetor with
electric choke, aluminum intake, Delco HEI ignition with
performance AC Delco plugs & wires, exhaust headers, brand new
water pump, fuel pump, and starter. It is nicely dressed further
with chrome air cleaner and valve covers. The air conditioning was
recently serviced to include a new dryer and continues to operate
wonderfully. The long term owner of this gorgeous Fremont, CA built
example added some upgrades that included moving the fuel tank from
the original cabin location to underneath the rear bed between the
frame rails, with a super slick hidden filler neck hidden behind
the driver's side rear marker light. It easily flips outward for
fill ups. The fuel cell itself is a stainless steel unit for added
lifetime durability. On the ground are polished aluminum 15" Center
Line mags wrapped in Cooper Cobra GT Radial tires measuring
275/60R15 at all four corners. The truck is well sorted and has
been enjoyed for decades by the same, loving owner! With the
recently renewed drivetrain with all freshly built components, it
should now provide many more faithful years for the next lucky
owner. Finding quality 1970 Chevrolet trucks is tough, especially
with a step side bed. We don't expect this trophy truck to linger
here long. Please call with additional questions or schedule a
chance to review in person.
