Vehicle Description
When you spend money on your dream car, you want it to be a true
all-around classic. That's why this 1934 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery
is so appealing. Its bold red appearance leaves a lasting
impression; its custom interior keep you comfortable all year long;
and its shining fuel-injected V8 and chromed fully-independent
suspension is exactly what a custom car like this deserves.
This is the one to drive when you want attention on the custom car
scene. Most 1930's custom creations start with a Ford body, and so
this '34 Chevy already an instant attention-grabber. And we all
love the look of a sedan delivery turned into a street rod. Of
course, painting the steel body (and wider fiberglass fenders) in a
bold shade of Cadillac Dynast Red immediately adds modern flare to
this classic appearance. And as this draws in a crowd, people will
be impressed by impossible to miss details like the custom
pinstriping and the "Yesterday's Heartbeat" displayed over the rear
panel. This bold red and overall clean design makes the brightwork
on the waterfall grille, and Billet Specialties wheels really
standout. And when you take the hood's side panels out, the engine
bay really adds to this red and chrome atmosphere (but more on that
in a moment.)
Inside is a full custom setup built with luxury and comfort in
mind. Not only do the tan leather bucket seats look great, but
since they were made by the masters at Recaro, you know they have
proper modern bolstering. The carpeting, door panels, and headliner
are all finished in coordinating shades of tan. Even the rear cargo
area is properly carpeted, so you can open the wide rear door and
use this as your trophy case. More than just showing off, this one
has all the best comfort features, including power windows, cruise
control, and provisions for air conditioning. You even have the
AM/FM/CD stereo mounted in a custom overhead console. The driver
gets a cool Billet Specialties steering wheel mounted on a chrome
tilt column. Plus, the Dakota Digital gauge package is centrally
mounted in a custom aluminum panel so everyone can see its cool
blue glow.
If the motor is going to be exposed to the world, it better always
be ready to show-off, and this 5.7-liter LS1 V8 does not disappoint
(this one also has the hood side panels available if you like the
enclosed look.) This quite modern fuel-injected powerplant had $10k
invested in looking this good and running this strong, so we dare
you to find another component that can be polished. But when you
look beyond all the show-stopping chrome, you'll see some serious
power. This was a low mileage motor, and it was correctly tuned
before being put into this car. The result is an estimated 365
horsepower, and a soundtrack out of the dual exhaust that is
invigorating. But don't just admire the rumble, follow its path in
the undercarriage photos. There you'll see great chromed components
like the Outlaw independent front suspension with adjustable
coilovers, and the Corvette-style independent rear end - yes a
fully independent suspension in the classic street rod! And because
this one has sharper moves than most of the other classic customs
out there, it takes advantage of other great driving features like
the 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive, Onmi rack
& pinion power steering, and four-wheel disc brakes.
There has been so much time, effort, and money spent on this custom
build that we don't have all the room to describe it all here, so
call for all the details. But you already know this Chevy will make
people stop and stare wherever it travels. And thanks to a long
list of comfort features, this custom build can even be your
interstate transport. It's all the street rod fun with none of the
pitfalls. Call today!!!
