The car is factory equipped with a big-block 400 ci motor, a 4-barrel carburetor, a 3-speed turbo-hydramatic automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes. It's still in factory original condition except for a new AC Delco battery, brand-new Hankook radials, new rear brakes, new belts, and the carb was rebuilt/re-tuned. The AC is converted to meet new standards. The Caprice has the original T-3 headlights, the original am radio, and the original unused spare tire in the trunk. Window sticker, build sheet, and owner's manual come with the car.
The Caprice was driven to the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America annual meet in Des Moines, IA in June 2017. A 1500-mile round trip. The car drove fantastic, did not burn any oil, lose any anti-freeze, and maintained 16mpg on the highway. Cruise-control and am radio worked fine.
