Vehicle Description
For sale in our Detroit showroom is a custom built 1961 Ford Falcon
Futura. In 1961 after being well received, the Falcon received
higher level trim options in the form of the Futura and the
Caliente from Mercury. This Ford Falcon is a very nice original
looking car and is the Futura model with a fantastic looking
exterior and fresh coat of Dupont Chroma-Systems Aqua colored
finish. To accent the exterior of this 1961 Ford Falcon is chrome
bumpers and trim and a very nice set of original rims wrapped in a
nice brand-new set of radial tires with blow-proof side walls. This
1961 might look like an original car, but it definitely has many
upgrades making it a true Sleeper. Under the hood now lies a 1968
302 CID V8 bored .30 over with an Edelbrock E Street cam and heads,
MSD ignition, Holley 600 cfm carb with electric choke, and coated
and wrapped custom headers. Behind that well-built 302 is a 1979
Big Shaft C4 transmission with a B&M torque converter and 2000
stall followed by a 8" rear end with an Eaton tru-track posi and
Moser axles. To accommodate all of the added power the suspension,
steering, and brake system is fully upgraded as well. This Falcon
has had a full restoration with every nut and bolt replaced and
there are just too many things to list. Options on this fantastic
little cruiser are Vintage Air air conditioning, AM/FM radio, seat
belts, vinyl interior, power steering, and radial tires. This 1961
Ford Falcon is ready to be cruised and enjoyed for many years to
come. Located in our Detroit Showroom, this 1961 Ford Falcon Futura
