This ultra rare, single owner, 1998 Diablo SV has lived in the Bay
Area its whole life. Has a complete set of owners books and tools
with a clean Carfax '1 owner certified' history report.
After a 25 year hiatus, Lamborghini re-introduced the 'SV' moniker
for a special, limited production Diablo at the 1995 Geneva Motor
Show. Stripped of the all wheel drive system, the new 510 hp 5.7
liter V12 funneled its power to the rear wheels through a 5-speed
manual transmission. Brakes were larger, suspension lower and
stiffer, lighter 3-piece wheels were fitted, measuring an absurd
13" wide at the rear. The exterior featured a new engine cover with
twin air intakes protruding above the roofline, larger side air
intakes, a restyled front bumper and hard to miss 'SV' graphics
along the sides of the car. A newly redesigned rear spoiler was
finished in black. Carbon fiber and alcantara covered most of the
interior, with leather being an extra cost option fitted to our
car. The car also features an Alpine stereo system, which is
synonymous with Lamborghini from the 1980s and 90s.
Lamborghini is estimated to have built just 425 SV's between
1995-99, however very few came to the US as it was only
'officially' imported here in 1998-99.
