This Miura P400 S was ordered new by Roma Lamborghini Agencies Auto
S.p.A. owner, Roberto Carpanelli, who was a personal friend of
Ferruccio Lamborghini
Chassis/VIN 3838 is recorded by Lamborghini Factory Production
records as having been completed on December 13th, 1968 as a normal
Miura P400S with the exterior color White and a standard cloth
interior in Mustard. It is one of 338 P400 S Miuras completed. This
car was production sequence #298 with Bertone Body #398 and engine
#2655
The car went through a color change early in life, and at one point
was repainted yellow with a black interior. The last color change
is the Lime green it is currently presented in with a black and
brown interior that was later changed to all black. The car spent
most of its life in Spain before joining a private collection in
Kanagawa, Japan where it spent a few years before moving to the
US
