Hi-Po Solid Lifter LT-1 350 with 4�Speed�Transmission.� This is one of only 240 LT-1's originally equipped with�Factory Air Conditioning!� Other features include Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Tilt/Telescopic Steering Column, Original AM/FM Radio, Power�Windows, Auxiliary Hard Top, Complete original�Smog Equipment, and Rally Wheels with White Letter Radials.� This is one very rare and well equipped original LT-1! A nice bit of trivia courtesy of the Corvette Black Book... 1972 was the only year in the 70-72 Series that the LT-1 Engine could be optioned with Air Conditioning. Previous restrictions were based on the fear of AC Belts being spun off by the higher RPM of the solid lifter engine. To discourage customers from running high RPM with these cars, they were fitted with 5600rpm red line tachometers from the base-engine car rather than the 6500rpm red line of non-air conditioned LT-1's. Call it sneaky, call it an after thought, but whatever you do, don't call this a run of the mill old Corvette! Other than the coveted ZR-1, this is as rare as they get!
