For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 2008 Ford Mustang Bullitt. Now for those not in the know, Bullitt was a movie of the 1960's starring none other than the king of cool, Steve Mc Queen. Now there have been good car chase scenes in movies since then however, only a few come close to Mc Queen tearing through the streets of San Francisco in a 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback! So, when Ford decided to name a car after the Man, the myth, the Mustang, they had to step it up. Only a total of 5808 of these 2008 Bullitt's where made and only a 1431 where made in Black. I am not sure why Ford made this car in black as Steve's car was green, but it sure looks good! Looking this '08 Mustang Bullitt for sale over you know it is not your standard Mustang, with a large chin spoiler pulling in cool air off the road this car looks like it is going 125 while it is sitting still. The hood on this car is very light and looks as if it is carbon fiber, if it is just carbon fiber look alike it is well done. Under the hood of this Ford tribute to a legend is a 4.6-liter 24 valve V8 that according to a magazine named motor Trend� has a 0 to 60MPH time of 5.0 seconds, a 60 to 0 in 127 feet and a standing � mile at 13.7@ 102.7 miles per hour. Fast, agile and brakes like you dropped 2 anchors out of the trunk, ok you can call it a Bullitt. Now while I am talking numbers, the odometer on this Bullitt for sale has only counted off 14,950 miles making this one just barley broken in. This one is one of the few painted black and has a shock tower brace with the #4433 on it. Black leather on the inside along with the shaker 500 sound system so that you can play funky sixties music as you imagine yourself Steve, banging through the gears and the traffic of San Francisco.
