one-owner, handicapped-equipped 2006 Honda Element, that is fully
wheelchair accessible with the flip of a switch! The Tango Red
Pearl exterior is in excellent shape, as are the wagon's glass
panels, which are clear and crack-free. The wagon's lights are also
clear and intact. The wagon rolls on Kelly radials, size P215/70R15
at all four corners and wrapped around factory aluminum wheels, all
of which look great. The wagon's body panels are solid and
straight, including the bumpers, the engine bay is extremely tidy
and the cargo bay looks fantastic. Driver assist features on this
Element include driver, passenger and front side air bags, power
steering, four-wheel disc brakes with anti-lock, air-conditioning,
cruise control, rear window defroster, power locks, power mirrors,
power windows, tilt steering column, intermittent wipers, privacy
glass and more. Inside, the black interior with its gray accents
looks great. The driver's bucket seat and rear seats are in very
good order. To make the vehicle handicap-accessible, the front
passenger seat has been removed, the passenger side doors operate
hydraulically, there's a power lift ramp on the passenger side and
there are hand controls for the accelerator and brake pedals. The
wheelchair resides in the passenger area allowing you easy access
to the driver seat and still room for passengers! In addition, the
headliner, instrument panel and four-spoke steering wheel are all
in very good order. The mirror glass and shifter are in good shape
and rounding out the interior is a factory AM/FM stereo with CD
player. TheHonda Elementwas acompactcrossoverbased on a
modifiedCR-Vplatform, manufactured inEast Liberty, Ohioand
offered infront-wheelandall-wheel driveformats in theUnited
StatesandCanadafrom model years 2003 through 2011. The Element
followed a concept vehicle calledModel X, developed by a core
group of Honda R&D engineers in 1998 and debuted at the 2001
North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The Model X was
designed to be an activity-oriented vehicle combining features of
apickup truckand asport utility vehicle. The floor is made of
easily cleanable TPO coated textured urethane; the fabric is stain
resistant; the individual rear seats recline, fold up, and are
removable. The rear clamshell tailgate arrangement is large, and
the vehicle is tall, allowing tall loads. The rear side doors open
outward from the front but are not referred to assuicide doors:
they cannot be opened if the conventional front doors are not open.
To accommodate elimination of theB-pillars, which provides
unobstructed access for side loading through the 2006 model year,
limited by the front seat design from 2007 onward, the Element
features a chassis with reinforced joints, strengthened lower side
sills, larger cross members, enlarged rocker panels, and five
bulkheads per side. The compact SUV features a2.4-liter K Engine,
an i-VTECfour-cylinderengine producing andfront-wheel driveor
an optionalall-wheel drivesystem a hydraulically actuated
system that operates only when front wheel slippage occurs,
marketed as "Real Time" all wheel drive. The Element had a towing
capacity 1,500lbs. With projected first year sales of 50,000,the
Element sold 67,478 units in 2003 in the U.S.By 2010, just over
14,000 were sold, and by December 2010, shortly before its
discontinuation, it had sold a total of more than 325,000 units. In
2007, the Element won the Dogcars.com "Dog Car of the Year" award
because of its "versatile cargo space, easy-clean flooring,
crate-friendly rear design and optional all-wheel drive." and in
2010, it won the "Small SUV" category as a "Top Safety Pick" in
theInsurance Institute for Highway SafetyAnnual Awards.
Competition to this Honda in 2006 included Ford's Escape, Honda's
CR-V, Hyundai's Tucson, Jeep's Wrangler, Kia's Sportage, Land
Rover's Freelander, Mazda's Tribute, This SUV is currently located
at our facility in St. Louis, Missouri. Current mileage on the
