Frame was sandblasted down to bare steel, re-coated with high-quality primer and paint. Truck was completely redone from the ground up. Every nut and bolt has been replaced, brand new corbeau seats, 4-point harnesses front and rear, Alpine sound system making sure that your tunes sound crisp and clear while you make others jealous
This 72 K5 Blazer has been frame off restored, and is ready to hit the trail. From the ground up the Blazer is sitting on 35" Toyo Open country Tires, sitting on XD'S Rockstar 2 wheels. An ARB rear locker, and an Eaton E-locker in the front. Both axles are freshly rebuilt with new bearings, carriers, gears, and seals. The gears used are G2 which have a 10 year warranty. The frame was stripped down completely and was sandblasted to bare steel, primed, and painted. Sitting atop the fresh frame is a body worth showing off. Sporting an orange flag on the right side with some other minor accents added. The body is ready for battle being coated outside, inside, and yes.... underneath with Rhino Linings. All of that of coarse after replacing all of the rust that was eating away at the floorboards, rear of the bed, rocker panels, rocker boxes, front of the rear wheel wells, right fender, and left door. (all of those were brought in new from AMD). After the body was all back together, we focused on the drivetrain, starting with the motor. The motor is a 5.7L Vortec that came out of a '99 Truck. It was stripped down, machined to .030" over and rebuilt using all new parts. Headers and some small glass-packs make this beast roar. Most of the electrical wiring is wrapped up in a premium loom keeping things tidy. from the LED headlights, to the digital Instrument panel by Dakota Digital.
The interior is comfy and practical with Corbeau seats front and rear. These seats are full suspension seats, designed to keep you comfortable and safe off-road. The Harnesses are a 4-point harness that makes getting in and out very easy. with an all new steering wheel and carbon fiber accents the interior looks great. All the way down to the custom switch panel that controls front and rear lockers, as well as the ARB compressor, and the 20" Black Oak LED light bar in the custom one off grille.
The soft top is from soft topper, and is very strong and works great. In combo with the solid doors it has very little leakage, the tube doors, and the top in bikini style, is our favorite way to roll around. (who doesn't like to be topless??)???
Last but not least is the sound system that sports Alpine premium 10" Subs, amp, and head unit. While Powerbass takes care of the other 4 amazing sounding mid range speakers, all housed in custom speaker boxes that make this beautiful beast sound almost as good as she looks.
