like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee.
We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no
consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You
can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a
big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So,
that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us
for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at
(865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of the Nomad. The restoration
on this Nomad is one of the best we've ever seen. It was frame off
restored and taken down to the metal. Down the sides are laser
straight with both doors having near perfects gaps and fit.
Everything is covered in the House of Kolor Kandy Brandywine that's
accented by the cream top. The paint on this '56 has been buffed
and polished to a mirror finish that's slick as a ribbon, and is
just as beautiful down low as it is up high. Every piece of Chrome
and Stainless on this Nomad was replaced and has a near perfect
fit. All the glass was also replaced along with the seals and
weather stripping. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of
18" and 20" Billet Specialty Wheels with New Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this '56. On the inside, it's
a total custom job that is sure to have you mesmerized. It starts
with Tan Leather Front Bucket seats and a matching rear bench seat.
A custom console was also built and wrapped in leather. It houses
Vintage Air Controls, Lokar Shifter, Power Window Controls,
Bluetooth Radio, and built in speakers. The door panels are done to
the match the seat covers with the rear panels also matching and
having built in speakers too. The headliner is also a custom design
and in the back, it has matching carpet with a Leather Insert to
hide the battery. Looking at the dash it's painted to match the
exterior and has the upgraded Dakota Digital Gauges that are all
working. The dash trim along with all the rest of the interior trim
was also replaced and has an excellent fit.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood
is breath taking with tons of eye appeal. The firewall and inner
fenders are painted and the hood has Billet Hinges. For power, it
has a 6.0 LS2 Engine that's mated to the 4L60E Trans and a Posi 9"
Ford Rear End. The engine cover has been painted to flow perfectly
with the exterior color combo. The Aluminum Radiator support holds
the Aluminum Radiator with Dual Electric. Look a little closer and
you'll see it has the Aluminum Serpentine Belt System along with a
Polished Air Condition Compressor and Alternator. Along with AC
this Nomad has Wilwood Four Wheel Disc Brakes with drilled and
slotted rotors. Also, it has an all new Power Rack and Pinon
Steering system. Looking under this Nomad you will see it's nothing
short of impressive. It has a custom-built frame that's Hammer
Coated. All the floors have also been professional protected. Up
front it has Tubular Control Arms with QA1 Coil Overs, and out back
it has the triangulated Four link along with QA1 Coil Overs as
well. The exhaust system is stainless with turn downs at the rear
end. All the body bushings have been replaced along with the gas
tank, fuel lines, and brake lines.
