Vehicle Description
This is rolling nostalgia. The 1987 Lincoln Town Car was part of
that popular generation where you or a family member cherished this
full-size luxury machine. And since this highly-original,
well-documented, and loaded car is so affordable, you can return to
that time with ease.
This shows all signs of being the original Rose Quartz paint. This
color is a great backdrop to showcase the matching vinyl half-roof
of the premium Signature Series as well as the dual-color
pinstripe. In fact, the total package is the perfect way to
represent the premium cars of the 80s, because it wears this unique
color package like a prim-n-proper three-piece suit. And like any
good yuppie, there's plenty of wealthy jewelry on display, too. So
all the trim is complete, including the bumpers, mirror-like rocker
trim, and bright work that surrounds every piece of glass. But even
with all this flair, the upgrade to the optional lacy spoke alloy
wheels are still absolute standouts that were worth every
penny.
While the exterior easily lives up to the premium Lincoln name,
it's the interior where the reputation is really earned. Full-sized
luxury means you can choose to seat six or fold down the armrests
in both rows to give four people individual pillow-tufted comfort.
The velour is in excellent condition with no stains or tears to get
in the way of the preserved experience. This sedan is built to keep
the driver comfortably in control, and so all the essential
components are within easy reach - everything from the climate
control (with provisions for factory air conditioning) to the
cruise control on the steering wheel. As a true Lincoln this is
loaded with features like power seats, power locks, power windows,
and the original AM/FM/cassette premium stereo.
This is a premium Ford product from the '80s, and so you know
there's a 5.0-liter V8 under the hood. But while the fuel-injected
motor was earning a street-eating reputation in the Mustang, this
is quite a different setup. It utilizes its powerful and torquey
heart in a more refined way - so no rumbling burnouts here, but you
do get to be the first to pull away for the stoplight any time you
want. While this is the perfect car for the drive-in (after all,
its interior is more comfortable than any movie theater seat),
there's much more to this sedan. It has power steering, front disc
brakes, and a four-speed automatic transmission with
highway-friendly overdrive. It's the kind of classic luxury that
can still easily take you in comfort on the long road trips.
The sale comes complete with all the right paperwork, including the
original window sticker, bill of sale, dealer invoice, and owner's
manual. This one has been cared for just like the Town Car from
your memories. So when its time to reminisce, don't grab a photo
album, and reach for this Lincoln instead. Call now!
