Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this highly
customized 1972 Chevrolet Impala Convertible "Donk". There has been
lots of time spent and work done on this car to make it one of a
kind. Under the hood there is a GM 5.3 liter fuel injected V8
Vortec engine. The GM Vortec engine has advanced modern design with
overhead cams and plenty of power. It is also fitted headers and a
full length custom exhaust system. The exhaust has a nice rumble to
it but is not overly loud. The transmission is also a later model 4
speed 4L60 automatic and the rear end gears are 4.11s for a quick
stoplight pull away. The exterior of this car is very nice with
straight sheet metal and a high gloss finish in stunning Ferrari
Red. All the chrome, trim and bright work is in good condition and
complements the red paint as it should. You better have your shades
on when you look at this beauty in the sun! From the photos, you
may have noticed the wheels...they are massive 26 inch Forgiato's
with Desert Storm tires. The black power top operates and is in
very good condition with no tears and a glass rear window. Inside,
the black interior has newly reupholstered front and rear bench
seats done in leather and newly replaced black carpet. The A/C
works in this classic ride and it has power brakes, power steering
and power windows. This car also features a Dakota digital
instrument panel that lights up in red, with all the engine
instruments working as well. Now to the what some people would
think is the most important feature, the stereo, and the one in
this Impala does not disappoint! A Pioneer high end AVH-2908T
digital touch screen with blue tooth input, CD, AM/FM supplies
plenty of heart pounding entertainment. There are two batteries to
power this bad boy sound system and two big amps in the trunk. In
the trunk, there is also four Pioneer 12 inch Champion Series Pro
subwoofers mounted in a custom enclosure box, and 6 other mid and
high speakers in the interior. You could set off car alarms with
this stereo system if you're not careful. This car also has an
alarm system to protect all this expensive equipment. Owning this
car will set you apart from the crowd as you cruise down the road
in style enjoying your music. Everyone will know you're coming from
a mile away! To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this 1972
