Vehicle Description
This 1970 Mustang Restomod is as fine an example of customization
done right as any you're likely to find! Completely restored and
ready to go, it's all about a great list of upgrades to enhance
your driving experience and laser straight panels meticulously
reassembled to create a truly unforgettable result.
The quality of this car is evident right away. Originally code T
Red, the builder decided to go a more aggressive direction with the
impeccable gun metal gray metallic paint job which will surely turn
a lot of heads. It's accented by a black, scooped fiberglass hood
and a pair of black stripes that adorn the driver's side fender.
It's a really nice look! Look down and you'll see that the 17"
Bullitt Alloy Rims blend perfectly with this color scheme. A whole
lot of forethought went in to create a ride that, while clearly
showing its mods, also really respects the original aesthetics of
the model. The shaved door handles give it a very clean,
aerodynamic look. Take a lap around the car and it's immediately
obvious how well everything fits together and when you stop at the
rear, you'll notice that the black taillight panel, punctuated by
its billet steel gas cap, really finishes off the SERIOUS 360
degree appeal of this Mustang.
The all black interior is in perfect balance to the outside of this
car. With fewer than 1000 miles on the build, everything looks very
fresh and inviting. The front bucket seats have been custom
upholstered and bolstered for additional support, while the rear
seats sport an identical pattern and still retain their original
fold-down capability. From front to back, unspoiled black carpet
completes the look. There's Dynamat underneath to keep the road
noise down and the road heat off your feet. Slip into the driver's
seat and have a look at the Dakota digital gauges while peering
through the Lecarra steering wheel and you'll appreciate how well
their modern look and signature blue glow fits in with the wood
panel that surrounds them. The Classic Air A/C system looks great
and blows nice and cold and the JVC entertainment unit will supply
endless hours of tunes from a variety of sources.
While the expectation level already created by both the inside and
out may seem like a hard act to follow for the drivetrain, this is
a Mustang with GO to match its SHOW. It features a great list of
quality components to provide an outstanding driving experience.
Its late model 302 with roller rockers, serpentine belt system and
fed by a Holley carb is mated to a fresh T5 overdrive transmission
that'll not only provide the overall performance you're after, but
also miles of low RPM highway cruising. With the addition of a
Total Control Products rack and pinion system, you won't have to
worry about steering slop as you put those miles behind you. The
MSD ignition system provides ample spark and a set of Hooker
headers, flowing into a Magnaflow stainless steel dual exhaust,
promise effortless breathing. As much as we all prefer open roads
and uninterrupted cruising, you won't dread stop and go situations
with the power front disc brakes and all new suspension. The added
cable clutch system REALLY reduces pedal effort to make shifting a
breeze and a nicely-sized aluminum radiator with dual electric fans
has been added to keep things cool under the hood in all driving
conditions.
This one is a veritable category-killer, a classic Mustang that
reflects the best of what restomodding is all about - a unique look
and a great driving experience. Don't wait!!
