This is a #s matching, authentically restored Corvette with a no
hit body. So it's a sound investment. Its also going to be a
pleasure to own. It's a good looking car with power steering and
brakes. Also has a $1,900 upgraded front suspension kit from Vette
Products and Brakes. The handling is superior to the original.
Originally a Florida car, currently owned by a collector. He had
Dick's Corvette Specialties inspect and maintain the car. Recent
work: new rear wheel bearings, rear end bearing and seal, new trans
seals, rear main engine seal, power steering valve, new clutch and
pressure plate, front end alignment, adjusted brakes. Recent
Magnaflow exhaust. The owner drove this car with no problems. The
underside is clean and tidy. Everything looks proper- the spare
tire carrier, brake lines and cables, bushings etc. Clean frame and
floors. Original Muncie trans. Corvette Specialties say it's a no
hit body. Headlight buckets fit nice. Has a smooth glossy paint
with only a few minor flaws you would have to look for. Chrome
bumpers, mirrors, emblems, gas door and taillights look new.
Updated bolt on aluminum wheels with like new radial tires. Another
nice upgrade is blue German cloth top, very rich. The top frame was
painted and was given new rubber. Interior is very nice throughout.
Clean dash area including gauges. Upgraded to quartz clock and
retro stereo. The motor compartment looks factory correct. It has
the proper dual snorkel air cleaner on top of the correct
carburetor that even has the choke heat tube going to the original
exhaust manifolds. It also has the complete ignition shielding.
This a good honest car from a good honest seller. Ready to
