1980 Chevy Corvette Coupe (L82) - While just over 40,000 Corvettes rolled of the assembly line in 1980, only 1/8 (5,069 ... to be exact) came outfitted with the L82 engine option. This option added horsepower from 180 to 230 and it is definitely noticable behind the wheel! Another rare option was the AM/FM Radio wi/ Inegrated CB (UP6) which was only found on 2,434 Corvettes. These options and other on this Corvette are excellent but we feel that the condition of the Chevy is what will make you fall in love. This Corvette received a complete body-off restoration in 2003 and the underside is as clean as the top. We've owned numerous Corvettes over the years and never come across one from this era that is this clean. The factory Silver Metallic paint is in excellent condition and the paired with an immaculate Oyster leather interior, the car has a striking presence. Under the hood the factory 350 presents and runs like new. Everything on the vehicle works like it should and we wouldn't hesitate to drive this Corvette from LA to NYC. We do not have documentation to support the 68k miles on the odometer but see absolutely nothing to suggest it is any higher.
