1955 Hudson Hornet 4 Door Sedan
The 1955 Hudson was the first new car built by the newly formed
American Motors but was sold under the Hudson name. The car
received high acclaim for it's styling, handling, performance,
braking, and for having the widest front seats in the industry!
The "egg crate" wide front grill was very popular at the
time.
The pictures tell the tale on this car. It is an original,
un-restored car with the odometer showing 97K miles. The
miles have not been verified as actual. The long lines of
this great car are enhanced by the Continental Kit and the wide
white-wall tires. The car is powered by the factory available
Packard-built 320 V8 and Packards Ultramatic automatic
transmission. The car runs and drives well.
The body is in original condition with some attention needed to the
front floor pans. The interior is also original. The
car could be driven and enjoyed as it is or is an ideal candidate
for restoration as all parts are present.
