Vehicle Description
In 1935; Packard entered the competitive mid-priced eight-cylinder
car market. The 120 allowed Packard to keep sales at needed levels
on the tail end of the Great Depression; keeping the automaker
alive. Packard's first car to use independent suspension; known as
'Safe-T-Flex'; provided a more responsive; smoother ride. Powered
by a 282 cubic inch straight 8 cylinder motor; the 120 provided
plenty of power in a more compact package. Packard took one-year
off in the production life of the 120; offering no 1938 model-year;
returning in 1939 with the model's second generation. This 1939
Packard 120 Convertible is masterfully restored to fantastic
condition. With a stunning combination of a yellow exterior and
cream interior; finished out with a brown convertible top; every
element of this car captures one's attention. Firing up with a push
of it's signature Packard push-button start and effortlessly
gliding down the road; this Packard presents a tremendous ownership
opportunity.
