One of the great American muscle cars, this 1966 Olds 442 two-door
coupe packs a punch! An extremely rare 442 and highly optioned.
This California 442 is air conditioned and features an L69 with
tri-carburetor and M-21 4-speed transmission. This iconic muscle
car spent most of its life in California and still retains a
California Black Plate and broadcast card. The Z-code in the VIN
indicates it was built in Fremont, CA. It has no rust and features
all-original GM sheet metal, floors and quarters.
Matching-numbers L69 Rochester tri-carburetor 360hp engine in a
progressive linkage, a 400 cu. V8, 4-speed M-21 transmission, and a
"SI" 3.55 Posi-traction rear.
According to the seller, this could be the one of only four
surviving 442 with the L69 performance package that included
factory AC and power steering. This car underwent a frame off
restoration 6 years ago and has only 1,700 miles on the odometer
since the restoration. It is repainted in a Royal Blue with a blue
vinyl interior.
