Bentley Mark VI. The Mark VI was only manufactured for 6 years.
This was the first post-war luxury vehicle from Bentley, but being
there was a major steel shortage during this time it made
production difficult. This Bentley runs on the original 260 CID
Inline 6-cylinder engine which was rebuilt back in 2007 by Portland
Engine builders then installed by The Jag Shop in Portland, Oregon.
The engine is partnered with a 4-speed manual transmission. This
car has received some restoration throughout its life span. Some of
the items that have restored are new exhaust system, coils, rear
shocks, new �electronic' SU fuel pump, clutch pressure plate was
rebuilt by OTT's Friction and a new clutch drive plate and throw
out bearing were installed. The list goes on to make sure this
classical beauty stays on the road. The car has been well taken
care of throughout the years and has even had new motor mounts,
hoses, and tires installed. The distributor was rebuilt and
converted to electronic ignition, water pump rebuilt, and radiator
was re-cored. The white paint on the car is in nice condition and
makes this car look like a true luxury ride and has plenty of
chrome accents to compliment the car. The Bentley hub capped wheels
go well with the very clean white wall radial that have plenty of
tread life left in them. The interior of the car is in good
condition considering the car is in its mid-60's and still holding
strong. There are a few tears along the driver's seat but the rest
of the interior is in great shape for its age. You will even notice
the carpet, door panels, and headliner are all in great shape and
have been taken care of throughout the years. The wood trimming
along the interior provide that true Bentley luxury. Not to mention
the fold down trays the are a smooth feature in the rear seats so
even the kids can enjoy their fast food meal on the way home.
