Vehicle Description
The paint, four-speed, rumbling exhaust, and performance-built 396
big block V8 - this is a fully-built custom 1968 Chevrolet Camaro
that has all the right investments to be a mean midnight
machine.
If cars were actors, there would be no doubt that this one could
play a villain in every movie. The shiny jet black paint has so
much luster that it looks like it's out to consume all of the light
around it. In fact, you almost don't notice the dual blue stripes
at first, if they were not highlighted by the cowl induction hood
that's been supersized for added aggression. It gets even better at
night where the high discharge headlights with LED surrounds make
this dark Camaro look fearsome. But as intimidating as this one
wants to be, it still can't help but shine with some great
brightwork on the bumpers, around all the glass, and outlining the
wheels & rockers panels. And there's no missing those large 17-inch
Billet Specialties alloys.
Step inside, and this Camaro is just as deep and dark as the
exterior. But a tough appearance doesn't mean it's uncomfortable.
Strato bucket seats and full-length door armrests are part of a
premium package Camaro. You get a newer three-spoke sports steering
wheel and beyond that the "Monster" AutoMeter tach with shift light
gives you the most important information of this performance
machine. And just in case you weren't already clued in on what
muscle machine this Camaro is, the auxiliary gauges and Hurst
shifter just below it really let you know there's something mean
under the hood.
From the moment you see the engine bay and the big block inside,
you instantly realize why this Camaro needs all that extra tall
cowl. The 396 cubic-inch V8 has been dressed to impress with
polished components like the air grabber, pulleys, steel braded
hoses, bracer bars, and Chevy performance valve covers. But more
than just shine, there was a solid investment in substance, too.
This big bock features a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock
air gap intake, MSD ignition, and a set of Hooker long tube headers
that feed the thunderous dual exhaust. And best part of all, the
four-speed manual transmission means you dial in your level of
performance with a quick downshift. Backing up this big power
package are all the right components. Up front there are SSBC disc
brakes, and in the rear, there are adjustable traction bars. The
details are even taken care of, like the battery relocated to the
trunk for better traction, and a Be Cool aluminum radiator to keep
everything cool even when running hard.
Complete with maintenance records, this Camaro makes no apologies
for what it is. It's the aggressive bad guy on the streets, and
you'll feel sooooo good driving it. Don't miss out on some
sinister-style excitement, call today!
